Physics Study Program is Joining the Management Review Meeting Held by FMIPA Universitas Udayana
Denpasar, October 27, 2026 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Udayana, continues to strengthen its commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education through a Management Review Meeting (MRM). The meeting was held as a follow-up to the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) conducted on September 21–22, 2026, and served as a strategic forum to evaluate audit findings and formulate measurable and sustainable improvement measures.
The meeting was attended by the Dean, Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Head of the Unit for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (UP3M), Study Program Coordinators, Head Auditor, Study Program IQA Task Force members, Head of Administration, and administrative staff within FMIPA Universitas Udayana. The participation of faculty leaders, academic representatives, and administrative personnel reflected the importance of collaboration across all organizational levels in fostering a consistent culture of quality and continuous improvement.
During the meeting, participants reviewed audit findings covering education, research, community service, study program profiles, and supporting administrative functions. The meeting concluded with an agreement to address all identified findings through appropriate corrective and improvement measures tailored to the characteristics of each issue and the needs of the respective organizational units. Each study program and faculty-level unit is responsible for implementing the agreed follow-up actions within the established deadlines, ensuring that the improvement process is systematic, targeted, and measurable.
Beyond addressing audit findings, the MRM represents an essential component of the internal quality assurance cycle, ensuring that audit results lead to meaningful corrective actions and tangible improvements. Through this mechanism, FMIPA Universitas Udayana seeks to strengthen institutional governance, enhance the effectiveness of academic and administrative processes, and foster a more accountable, quality-oriented working culture.
The meeting is expected to reinforce the consistent implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) throughout FMIPA Universitas Udayana. Through planned, measurable, and continuous follow-up actions, each study program and organizational unit is expected to improve the quality of educational services, strengthen the performance of the university's three pillars of higher education—education, research, and community service—and enhance institutional preparedness for accreditation processes and evaluations conducted by reputable ranking organizations.
Through this collective commitment, FMIPA Universitas Udayana reaffirms that quality improvement is not merely a means of meeting standards or fulfilling accreditation requirements. Rather, it is an ongoing institutional effort to establish governance that is excellent, accountable, and responsive to the evolving landscape of higher education.
