Vision, Mission, Goals, and Values

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 139 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for the Statute and Organization of Higher Education that Higher Education as an educational institution with the task of carrying out the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi which includes the implementation of education, research, and community service must be able to act as an institution that produces resources. qualified human resources to be able to actively participate in national development activities and have high competitiveness in global competition in the fields of science, technology, and/or art. Referring to the Vision and Mission of Universitas Udayana and FMIPA, the vision and mission of the Physics study program have been compiled as follows.

Vision of Physics Study Program

"The realization of the Physics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Udayana as an institution capable of producing graduates who are superior, independent and cultured in the field of education and the development of physical science and its applications."

1. Superior Human Resources: Human resources who have high competence, competitiveness, and wisdom in developing their knowledge to improve the dignity of the nation and state and humanity in general.
2. Independent Human Resources: Human resources who have a strong personality and the ability to work both independently and together, interact with their dynamically developing environment.
3. Cultured Human Resources: Human resources who have sensitivity and sharpness of conscience and are able to take advantage of the noble values ??of local culture that are universal to interact in society.

Physics Study Program Mission

1. Organizing quality, responsive and adaptive development and education of physical science and its applied sciences to the development of science and technology as well as the needs of the community.
2. Provide quality human resources, educational facilities and infrastructure, research that is relevant to the development of science and technology.
3. Implement a credible, transparent, accountable and responsible management system, education governance.
4. Carry out community service in accordance with the needs of the community and nation.
5. Carry out efforts for the sustainability of the department (study program), through cooperation in the field of education and research in physics and its applied sciences, and other partnerships at the local, national and international levels.

Physics Study Program Objectives

1. Produce graduates who are professional in the field of physics-based research and learning of physics and science and technology; knowledgeable and skilled for centers of excellence for education, research and development of science and technology that are known and recognized nationally and internationally.
2. The implementation of research and development activities of physical science and its application in accordance with the development of science and technology as well as the needs of the community.
3. The implementation of quality education and learning activities in physics and applied science to support the quality of the faculty as part of a university that is able to produce superior independent and cultured human resources.
4. Develop organizational independence: leadership and management of study programs that are efficient and effective with quality and professional services.
5. Cultivating the spirit and spirit of nationalism, as well as self-discipline among the academic community, and increasing the participation of study programs in solving problems in society.

Referring to the Basic Scientific Pattern (PIP) of Universitas Udayana is Balinese culture. Thus, Balinese culture must be the hallmark of the development and application of knowledge at Universitas Udayana. Culture can be seen from the aspect of values or mindset, from the aspect of technology, knowledge. Therefore, the following values have been developed.
