Physics Students Participate in the 2026 Universitas Udayana ONMIPA Internal Selection

A total of 14 students of the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Udayana, participated in the internal selection test for the National Mathematics and Natural Sciences Olympiad (ONMIPA) on March 5, 2026. This activity was held in the Lecture Building auditorium, 3rd Floor, Unud Jimbaran Campus, Bali. This year's ONMIPA selection was attended by 130 participants for the four competition fields. Specifically, the Physics field was attended by 18 students. The Physics field selection covers the following topics: (1) Classical Mechanics, (2) Electrodynamics, (3) Thermodynamics, (4) Statistical Physics, (5) Modern Physics, and (6) Quantum Mechanics. This selection was carried out for 120 minutes. Students received 10 essay questions for the six topics. The results of this selection will later produce the 10 best participants for each competition field. Furthermore, the selected participants will be coached for a month and finalized to obtain the 5 best participants as Universitas Udayana delegates in the regional ONMIPA selection test.
